Colon Cleanse Recipe (To Use Before Starting the HCG Protocol)

Some believe it is important to undergo a colon cleanse regiment before starting the HCG Protocol because there are toxins and other environmental contaminates, hormones, and other impurities in our food supply and diet that didn’t exist, and therefore were not a factor, when Dr. Simeons was administering the HCG Diet to his patients decades ago.
Those selling Homeopathic HCG practically INSIST one undergoes a colon-cleansing before starting the protocol, perhaps because the Homeopathic HCG isn’t really effective? See a related post here: Homeopathic HCG Scam
Most people that do the HCG Diet Protocol forego a colon cleanse since Dr. Simeons never included it in his protocol, and therefore most believe it isn’t necessary. From the results people get on the HCG Diet WITHOUT ever doing a colon-cleanse, it seems obvious it isn’t necessary, but what could it hurt?
Many of us have not been eating well for years, so if you want to preface your HCG treatment with a colon cleansing, here’s a recipe with instructions you can use that works great:
20 Minutes before your first meal of the day, mix the following together:
- 6 oz. Organic Apple Juice
- 6 oz. Filtered/Pure Water
- 1 tablespoon Liquid Chlorophyll
- 1 tablespoon Concentrated Aloe Vera Juice
- 1 tablespoon Hydrated Bentonite
- 1 tablespoon Psyllium Husk Powder (or Hulls, but Powder mixes better)
Mix well - you can use a Mason Jar with Lid and shake it vigorously.
Drink the entire concoction within a few minutes. If you leave it longer it will thicken like pudding.
Complete the above every day for 2-4 weeks. After about 2 weeks, you should prepare yourself for some toxic sludge to be eliminated in your bowel movement.

Keeping the Weight Off after HCG Dieting

There are more benefits to the HCG Diet than just rapid fat loss. The very thing that caused your obesity, the hypothalamus that regulates your metabolism, is ‘reset’ to function normally (whereas before, your system was off-balance and causing your body to create abnormal fat stores).
So, when you finish the HCG Diet, it is CRUCIAL you follow Dr. Simeons protocol completely, which includes a few weeks of eating a special diet so as to stabilize your new metabolic set point.
Many people that lose the weight and body fat with HCG put it back on simply because they skip this crucial step.

HCG Diet Foods - Apples and Strawberries

One of the requirements when taking HCG for weight loss is a Very Low Calorie Diet (VLCD), which means eating 500-600 calories per day, far below even the most modest caloric requirements of the smallest, lightest people (but if you are doing the HCG Diet, you probably aren’t small and light anyway).
People think “There is NO WAY I could survive eating only 500 calories per day” and in truth, they are right, except when accompanied by daily HCG injections. HCG allows your body to burn the otherwise inaccessible ‘abnormal fat’ for caloric needs, and many people feel 500 calories is TOO MUCH to consume - they simply have no desire to eat because every pound of fat contains 3500 calories, and HCG triggers burning between 1/2 to 2 pounds of fat per day, effectively providing all the calories the body needs - the food is simply to maintain nutrition (which fat calories don’t provide).
